Using knowledge from the Secrets of the Sambar books and Hunt Smart Training Course, Peter worked out where a stag was most likely to be, found his freshly used preaching tree on a game trail on the Upper Wagon Wheel Rim, determined the approximate time and direction of travel, ambushed it, and shot the stag from just 60 metres as he moved along it. The stag had no idea Peter was there.
